I have been looking at electronic sewing machines to replace my 35 year old Singer, but could not justify the £600+ it was going to cost. Hi, yes i did receive my PF1100 sewing machine eventually, initially there was an issue with the machine not being delivered, however after making a few phone calls the problem was looked into and sorted, I was then given my new delivery date and although a few days later than expected it did arrive. There was no problem with the delivery driver.
  The only thing i can't comment on at this stage is the actual machine, it is intended to be a birthday present which is not due for another couple of weeks!!!   Regards A Darby

Hi Jayne   Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, yes the machine (PF-HTP2938C) was delivered the very next day as promised and everything seems to be fine except that it mentions a spanner in the paperwork but there wasn't one in the box?   The delivery driver was helpful and friendly.   We are a branch of The Retired Greyhound Trust and all our members are volunteers who give up their time to help find homes for these gentle, lovable dogs I'm sure this machine will prove very successful in helping us raise extra funds to ensure that we can continue to give these lovable and rewarding dogs the future they deserve.   Thanks once again and please let me know about the spanner.

Many thanks for the computerised machine pf 8001. It arrived on Thursday (May 11) safe and without any damages as far as I could see. I cannot wait starting to sew.

 

We are a lot of quilting ladies here in Kungälv for the moment. We have 15 members in our group. Sewing is back! The members in our group are very talent and they sew almost everything, as dresses, totebags, handbags, tablecloths, lace bowls, pillows and a lot of clothes, but I would like to have more cheap cotton fabric to choose among. Fabric materials are expensive here. I know they produce lovely cotton fabric in China suitable for quilts and they use old English flowerful patterns which are adorable. I found this information on Internet a couple of months ago. Now I cannot find the address, but maybe you know about this too, in case you know, please, drop me a link.

 

According to the order confirmation no 4060 a pf U14 (an overlocker) should have been enclosed with the computerized machine, but it was not.  Maybe this item will be despatched later? I would be so pleased to know. When despatching this item I would like you to add three blue sewing machine carrying bags. Please, tell me the price and I will phone you about the payment.

But I never took some goods from foreign countries, so I was a little bit nervous.

After delievery service brought our new 8 needle punch machine we got a great shock, because we didn´t mind, that the british electrical plugs are different ( very different) from ours in Germany. But a short email allowed me to change the plug and build in a new 3 A fuse (german style) inside the body of the machine. And it functions very well. I have put it through its paces and it survived, YES!!!!!

 

It makes me look good, well my sewing anyway.

 

It is ssssoooo quiet, so easy to use.  I have NEVER embroideried anything, and now I cant wait to finish my roman blinds and curtains to get on with some real stuff. 

I have always shied away from sewing, but I think ‘super-sewer’ has now arrived.

I ordered a PF2000 sewing macine on Mon 18/12/06 approx 1700hrs, and it came
as stated on Wed 20/12/06. I thought with xmas delivery it would be delayed,
but it landed as promised.
I didn't open it till xmas day as it was xmas present from my husband, but

I received my new 'Joy' sewing machine today. Really pleased with it. I was a little apprehensive when I first ordered it because it was so cheap but on receipt of it I found it to be very good quality. On trying it out (it's so easy) I knew I had done the right thing, although I did have trouble with the bobbin casing, it fell apart as I took the bobbin out. It's not a good fit as the small lever comes off when I want to take the bobbin out. Is it possible to send me another metal case, please? I am delighted with the PF 2100  machine. I have managed to make four new net curtains which were long overdue. I'm over 60, retired and a widower, so investing in a sewing machine was something I considered for sometime before taking the plunge. It will be ideal for repairing 'zips' , trouser pockets and putting on the occassional button. No doubt I will find it useful for other jobs. The only comment I have ( I've never used a sewing machine before) is that the threading instructions could be made better. At first,  I kept getting  the machine jammed with both threads, but threading is no problem now. Perhaps a small CD or DVD might be the answer, showing in detail what you need to do and the likely mistakes. This CD could be sold separately if needed.

I love the way I can sew without using the foot pedal; the great variety of stitches and all the extras right down to the "key" to unscrew the needle plate! Good morning....   Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I hadn't been using the machine I was still trying to get to thread right after fiddling about.   When I spoke to an engineer he advised me to change the needle as it may have been damaged in transit. I changed the needle but did not realise there was a groove. I swapped it around the correct way and my machine now works.   Easy when you know how.   Thank you Thank you    Rachel Woodhead

Whilst I am a competent sewer, I have never ventured into the full realms of embroidery sewing machines, the nearest I have to this was my Pfaff 1475 Creative, which is now some 20 years + in age.

I was extremely impress with the way my husband an me were dealt with.  Your member of staff was polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about your products, which was a pleasure to know I was actually talking to someone that did know what they are talking about!  I felt extremely comfortable talking to her, and at no time was given the impression that I was time wasting due to making enquiries and not initially making a purchase.

I am impelled to write to you to say thanks for such great service!   I must also say that I am staggered at the quality of the machine and the 'extras' supplied with it, all at a price that, quite honestly, I couldn't believe and was sceptical as to what I may have bought. I cannot remember ever getting such a bargain before!   I was forced into the purchase because the foot pedal on our basic (a one stitch wonder!) machine finally broke and was going to cost about half of the cost of your 'multi stitch' machine - no contest! I am looking forward to hours of harmless fun trying everything out!

Just thought I would drop you line to let you know how impressed I am with your service.  I ordered my machine just yesterday morning and took delivery at 10.30am today.  I am a novice sewer & fed up with paying someone else to sew my curtains so I ordered your basic machine.  I have only test driven it so far but I think it will suit me nicely.  You never know, if sewing proves to be 'my thing' I may even upgrade!!  Once again, many thanks & kind regards
