EASY THREADING

The front of the machine opens out completely making it very easy to thread.

No awkward fiddling about trying to thread the loopers.

The threading is also colour coded with a handy diagram on the front of the machine.

OVERLOCK STITCHES AND APPLICATION

  An overlocker gives a professional finish to your garments.

  It also cuts your sewing time down as seams can be sewn and

  finished in one operation.

  If you have never used an overlocker you will never miss it. But, once

  you have used one and experienced the advantages of owning one

  you will never ‘make do’ without it!!!

  The PF15u is an easy to use 2 needle, 2, 3 and 4 thread overlocker

  with a differential feed.

 The differential feed facility is a must nowadays to be able to finish off

  all the new types of fabrics available today. This facility also means

  that adjustments can be made to the feed to eliminate ‘puckering’

  seams so often seen on badly made garments.

4 THREAD OVERLOCK

Use 4 threads to overlock seams

especially on stretch fabrics such as jersey,

lycra and knits

ROLLED HEM

 

Use 2 threads to sew a rolled hem on fine fabrics.

Use woolly nylon thread in matching or contrasting colour.  Use on lingerie, ball gowns,

wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses.

FLAT SEAMS

 

Use 3 threads to join a flat seam.

Use brightly coloured threads or woolly nylon thread for a decorative effect

REINFORCE SEAMS

Overlock with cord or tape to reinforce seams on

knitted fabric. Or use coloured cords and threads to make a decorative seam.

 

This machine is a 2, 3 & 4 thread overlock that uses two needles and two loopers to create 12 stitch types and numerous sewing applications

When the right needle is removed a wide 6mm

3 or 4 thread stitch is sewn.

When the left needle is removed a narrow 3.8mm

3 or 4 thread stitch is sewn
